Traditional repositories of knowledge, such as intranets, are not equal to this challenge, mainly because they save their well-established knowledge and the networking of information (social intranet) is missing.

I myself have parallels to problem of endangered species notice: you do not know which plants and animals can once again become useful, eg for food or medical care. Therefore it is important to know as many species and to receive. Types of knowledge, in turn, do a lot with networking in mind, because when everything darußen somehow connected to everything (about the time to say so flat).
This analogy is not surprising, because living things are only store in the end. Except that this one - especially the rare - not in stores intranets, but in the zoo, on reservations and in the ideal case - in the wild.
